The next step in leading someone to the Lord is to let them know that in spite of their past sins, God still loves them. There is no deeper love than that of someone that is willing to give their own son to save the life of another. That is what God has done for us. He sent his only begotten son to die to pay the price, despite our lack of love for Him.
